Head of our creative output is Paul Foxcroft, an entertainment professional with 23 years of experience of creating, producing, writing and finessing comedy for the stage and screen. Recently Paul has been developing comedy-drama projects and working as a Script Consultant for exciting proprietary projects with BBC Technology.

Paul Foxcroft - Actor

Paul Foxcroft is an accomplished actor with credits in a wide range of TV and stage works, not limited to Ted Lasso (Apple TV), Brassic (Sky) Michael McIntyre’s Big Show (Hungry Bear), Drifters (E4) and a panoply of commercials and short films including Open House, directed by Kate Herron and Callback alongside Sara Pascoe.

Paul Foxcroft - Comedian

Head of Comedy, Paul Foxcroft has performed stand-up comedy across the United Kingdom; his critically acclaimed shows Huge If True & Debut played to packed houses at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2018 & 2019. Paul pivoted to online hosting during the lockdown, as well as writing for shows like Hello America with Nish Kumar - but he’s now back on the circuit in London with a mixture of new material and “material”.

 

Paul Foxcroft - Improviser

A performer with over 16 years of experience, Paul is a world class improviser who has performed improvised comedy all over the world. He has worked with legends like Scott Adsit (30Rock), Brett Goldstein (Ted Lasso) and Cariad Lloyd (Austentatious). Paul has also spent a huge chunk of that time teaching improvisation with the graduates of his comedy training going on to great success. Some of his alumni include Scarlett Curtis (Feminists Don’tWear Pink), Rachel Parris (The Mash Report), Marcus Brigstocke (The Brig Society), Sophia DiMartino (Loki), Celeste Dring & Freya Parker (Lazy Susan) and many more

Paul Foxcroft - Script Consultant

A talented writer specialising in naturalistic dialogue and comedy beats, Paul works on bringing clarity and pacing to scripts as well as working with the creative team to tease out the funniest version of the script. His focus is on making every line the funniest version of itself, making the hard calls when it comes to edits and using his extensive background in improv to create solutions to problems when they arise.
